A little bump :p

I'm currently using a pair of Sennheiser 4.20s since a moment, I think it's by far the best brand I've tested for EDM music in general, even in Early Hardstyle where bass is more pronounced, no distortion :D
Plus the Price / Quality balance is excellent, I buy them 70€

Ive been using AKG K-271 for 20 years, two of them which broke after 10 years each ;) .
I just had to buy new ones two weeks ago - not surprisingly I bought... AKG K-271 MKII lol.
Most people would probably find them boring though they have rather low bass response. ^^

Audio Technica ATH-M70x for monitoring purposes and KZ SZ10 for listening to music.

The ATH are awesome. You might to get used to their relative sharpness but I really like it coming from Presonus HD7 which are much stronger bass response and less high end.

The KZ SZ10 have a great sound regarding their price. Also they come with a cool package and a high quality detachable cable.

I own the M50x as my first monitoring headphones and must say I LOVE them! For listening purposes I use the Skullcandy Crusher headphones.

Bought these 2 days ago, and just got them in the mail. Absolutely brilliant pair of headphones and probably the best I've ever owned.
Prior to these, the best I've had were a pair of Technics RP-DJ1200, that lasted me for about 10 years with daily usage. After those I bought a pair of HyperX Cloud II and they were fine for just casual listening and gaming.

Maybe if you wrote some music you wouldn't need 6 kick drums!

#dt990masterrace :+

I've had these since last fall. Not that I have tried a gazillion of them, but they are easily the best sounding headphones I have ever heard. The moment you put these on your head and play something for the first time and realize music has been this amazing all the damn time and you wonder why are you only discovering that now :+ owners of these will know haha. Makes you wonder why on earth do people keep on buying those crappy Beats headphones when these exist.

I've been using HD25s for around I years (and still use them as well, the Beyerdyanamics aren't exactly headphones you would wear outdoors), brilliant and durable pair of headphones as well

Let us know the results after you've burned them in :)
Peeps say there's a treble spike in 7-8khz range that's scaring some off, but if you can work around that (eq, change the pads etc.), they should be fine.

I own 880 Pro myself, but haven't listened to em for like 2 years now (faulty cord). Tried T1 3rd gen, but they had wayyyyyyyyyy too much bass to em. Like, I do like my bass, but man when its the only thing there is, no please.

Aaaand to close this post off, right now I'm using Hifiman Sundara. Really balanced. Easy to recommend.
I will. I can already say that there's some treble hijinks going on, but it's very miniscule, though I'll report back in a week or so.
Also, those Hifiman cans are supposedly exceptional so I can see how you could recommend those.

Yeah I wouldn't use open back headphones outdoors.
And yes, the comfort is fantastic! I can barely feel I'm wearing them lol

For outdoor/commutes I'm using some wired in-ears. Can't remember what kind but they weren't expensive. :)

Edit, apparently I can't remove those weird "%20 %20" in the quote spaces.

sennheiser HD280pro 64 ohm

I had them for a long time, they're very good budget headphones. I also have sennheiser cx 400-2 earbuds. I'm a collector of good quality earbuds, because who doesn't want a portable beautiful spectrum of sound at high sound quality?
