The most appealing thing to me is the boss rush so i'll try it after denuvo gets removed or cracked and then decide if its worth to buy, even tho devs seem to be misogynist as fuck, maybe thats why its so well received among my fellow gamers

I would tell its more like Ragnarok boss fights, pretty much nothing from souls here, except for "bonfires"Shodan wrote: 21 Aug 2024, 01:11 Seems the reception is going pretty well, haven't played it yet but what i've seen so far looks like a soul-less souls-like game, stuck between no wanting to be seen as a Souls game (wich clearly is) and being a hack n slash a-la Devil May Cry but not commiting to any of it, doesnt really matter how good it looks graphically if it has no personality neither on gameplay nor artistically

Haven't played Ragnarok so i dont know about its features, but i've seen this game having an estus flask (or limited healing system), stamina/resource based combat, the same "waste NPC dialog" problem from souls games that pairs with the shitty nonsense side quests from those games, resting that reset enemies and gives your healing back, semi-perfect frame or i-frame dodging system, level points/skill re-spec, i'd say even the pokeball summons take a huge inspiration from Elden RingVOL-E wrote: 28 Aug 2024, 00:32 I would tell its more like Ragnarok boss fights, pretty much nothing from souls here, except for "bonfires"![]()

If those core mechanics aren't enough to give it a souls-like tag, then i dont really know what to say, idk maybe heavily inspired but as i said, devs not wanting to be asociated with the name because they dont fill the shoes

I've bought it because I want to support quality games and will play it eventually, but glad you enjoyed it.
