Ok thanks, I understand what you mean now. I'm familiar with all those labels and artists but was wondering if there were clear terms for the different "styles" but now I see it's just a matter of distinct sounds depending on the artist/label. Then artists were so different themselves - Chris One was different to The R3belz who was different to Alphaverb who was different to new Code Black raw at the time who was different to new E-Force at the time who was different to Crypsis and even Radical Redemption stuff from Annihilate was rather different to the rest of the Minus is More stuff.
The diversity of raw in 2009-2012 was insane. We have that now of course but the point is - "OG Raw" was so wide that you can't pick one type and just say that's "OG Raw' now![]()
