I think I would flesh this out a little more. I like the pad but i think the melody needs work. There is no phrase or catch in it. Also the percussion needs more work I'd say! Good luck!

Okay, so I've just created a nice lead in Spire but the phase is switching from +1 correlation to -1 and is stuck there ( I heard it flip from +1 to -1) and I need to stop the track and replay it a couple of times to get Spire back on the +0.5/+1 and it also sounds way better so it's kinda annoying.. Anyone?

EDIT: It doesn't have any logical explanation when it comes to my own settings?

@earfucker, same as Audiopioneer said, the pads are fine, but the melody need a bit more work, it has no real distinguishable phrase

I've been toying around with a lead sound- I think I have a nice sound, but I feel something is missing any advice?

@EnceladusMusic Maybe a add some more reverb or delay to it? sounds a little dry. Maybe even add a bassline. I Like how the lead sounds pretty full though. Something I always had trouble with, does your lead have a good number of layers?

@tragedy1191 yeah think it's like 6 layers of sylenth1 (2 in a low octave, 4 in a high octave), all connected to a bus with a shit ton of processing and compression. trying to find a nice template and sound for writing melodies, so I don't spend half my time fiddling with sound design and processing.

I've added some extra reverb, and a bit of delay- sound much better now - cheers man :)

@EnceladusMusic
Thanks for you feedback
Not bad this melody
I think if you add another melodie and combine them together
it wil be more nice
This is my new project

@kykon
Maybe after the first 8-16 bars change to the 4/4 beat with some side chaining and keep that as the melody - I think it would sound pretty cool. ;)
