because it seemed to me you didn't, there was not a single inch of actual wokeness in this article - what it was about however are two major things:
1. US right-wingers are dumb as hell unsurprisingly, they're calling anything little bit reasonably (yes, reasonably) progressive thing "woke" for no fucking reason
2. divisive topics as marketing tools perfectly work because far enough people who hates the idea shared it/talked about it, guess who was benefitting from it (and I'm not saying the energy saver mode idea is bad)
