@AftershoQ

Love that kick (L) Sounds very nice overall, would love to hear the full version :)

@Critisized

Kick needs alot more punch, and some low freqs, tail itself sounds nice tho. Fatten up the screetch also.

Been like 3 years since I last tried to make some hardcore stuff, but here it goes:

Thx guys!! :D

Critisezed: your kick needs some fine tuning but it's a good start. Some EQ and maybe some compression and you got yourself a nice one. :)
The Shade: Holy shit man! Rough. Not really my thing, i'm mainstream, but i know some people that would love that kick. ;) I'll post my track when it's finished. :D

@Arhaner: I dig it, especially from 3:18, that is sickening. I think that you shoud make the bass a bit more prominent however, you know, to make the track "surge" more.

Here is the first track where I managed to make a decent kick and bass. What do ya think? What can be improved?

@Criticised: great speed and raw sound but the kick lacks a lot of punch and drive, you could try working on the shape of the kick to make sure the attack is well defined and separated from the tail. Then EQ the tail separately so that it packs all the bass. That might help :-)

@theshade: nice! Reminds me of goold old speedcore from 2000 - the mid-lows and lows are fighting for room a little but that's always a challenge in such a complex track. I wish the kick had a clearer attack as well. Otherwise really enjoyable!

@Shade: I like it! The kick is a little plain, it sounds good, but misses a lot of something. I like the overall idea and mastering though :P

is it wrong to love your own kicks? (L)

Nothing wrong with that. ;)

I don't like these kind of tracks, i'm more of a mainstream listener, but it sounds pretty good altough i wouldn't buy it. :)

@Neskarof cool stuff maybe you should add a bit more power to punch as mentioned before
@The Shade amazing kick! Really hard stuff. Keep it up!

My first try with hardcore melody. I'd like to ask you if I should continue or give it up.

@MRK, you need to variate the melody more. Like, the parts where you hear the same note twice is kinda boring, maybe put the first notes on different note or in lower octave. At the second part there are lot's of false notes, which make it sound evil, but weird. They're not properly placed.

It isn't bad, with fixing and making it a little more "hardcore uplifting" it would be good :)
