I didn’t compare my mental health to anyone else’s so why do you think I don’t realize that there are people living worse lives? Suicidal hellhole wasn't an exaggeration btw, in fact i would've already been dead if it weren't for a few people close to me.

All the shit you've been through, doesn’t change anything about all the the shit others went through. Obviously the weather is my least damn concern lmao, but as far as I know the name of this topic is ‘reasons to feel sad’, and not ‘reasons why i want to die’, if it were, I wouldn’t have posted about the weather. Hence the '/rant' which was intended to give some sarcasm. A reason to feel sad can still be about something small as far as I’m aware. Boo hoo, sadface, really

You know what, I was wrong. You write whatever you like for whatever reason. Your original post struck me as childish and spoiled and I made a stupid remark about it, without knowing your situation fully. I apologize, and I'll refrain from saying anything further.

It’s fine man. It’s not like my post showed any underlying issues, it was just a huge wall of text about the weather with no other context so I can understand it. Just wanted to point out that boo hoo remarks are just counterproductive if we want mental health to be taken more seriously, regardless of what someone is sad about, since even little things can feel very important for some people. Even if it’s not my biggest concern I’ve always felt like weather can certainly make or break my day/week/month. If the sun is one of the only things left that can still bring a smile to someone’s face, being stuck in a place with a severe lack of sunlight can definitely make one feel hopeless imo. Especially when there’s already a lot going on in one’s life.

13 degrees and rain on July, 3..

There have only been a few days where the temperature exceeded 20 c here for the entirety of 2024 so far, and it's July 3.. we had 2 semi-warm days (around 25c) in May, and 2-3 days around 25 (max 29) in the last week of June, and now it's raining again.. just like the other 300+ rainy days every year..

I'm guess I'm slowly realizing I can't grow happy in this country, can't stand it that 95% of the days are grey, cloudy, rainy, cold, it gives so much negative and deprimental vibes.

I could happily give you the 36 degrees we had during the day the temperature isn't usually this high at this part of Hungary and I'm still glad I'm not living south because it's rumoured to have around 40 degrees sometimes in the next couple of days

I would happily take that i’m half turkish, i guess my genes can’t stand all the cold and rain. In fact I have to take vitamin D supplements just to not be depleted in vitamin D, due to there barely being sun all year round.

Sure 36 it’s warm but I’d take it. It was like 13c and rainy a week ago one day, imagine wearing a hoodie and a jacket on top of it on a afternoon in July

Imagine waiting 10 months for a few weeks of summer every year and then that ‘summer’ turns out like shit and another 10 months waiting coming up just for some weeks of sun.

I have to get financially stable quick, then i’m outta here lol.

Moving for the third time within the past three years. Not happy with my job. Wasted efforts on saving a broken relationship which ended up in me finding out I got cheated on. When the system deleted my comment I got sent to a page where I could click ‘you made a mistake’ and stuff like ‘my comment was misinterpreted by the insta system’ or something like that and then they re-check it (finally an actual human checking it) and then 30mins later my comment was put back online well it doesn’t surprise me anymore really. The word ‘fat’ alone shouldn’t even be bannable at all. Especially since 2024 insta reels are full of memes about black people being cotton plantation workers, 9/11 stuff and gas chambers. For how much dark humour is allowed on IG nowadays, the fact that the word ‘fat’ gets removed is ridiculous lmao.
