I had an idea to make a mix with extremely rare tracks (modified a bit), I'm going to take my time with this mix.

here is a taster mix:

I can assure you it will be hard to sit still (H)

RIP Coolio, there is an Acti remix but surprisingly it loses to the original mix

Didn’t know where else to post this, but there’s an early hardstyle subreddit now. https://www.reddit.com/r/early_hardstyle/

Could be nice to have a dedicated space if the community gets to grow and sustain itself 😊

Ooh, I love both mixes actually. Slightly prefer the more aggressive Activator reversed bass on this one though

Speaking of old hardstyle labels that never went digital, I'd love to get hold of some releases on VIP Records sublabels like Beltdrive Records and Confusion Records. Interestingly, VIP Records still has a webshop but I couldn't find anything hardstyle related after clicking around a bit. According to Discogs, Mid-Town handled the distribution but even Mid-Town was all sold off in separate parts, so I don't know who might even own these old labels at this point. Anyone have any ideas? I want to email whoever it is and ask them to digitize what they have. It's never worked before when I'd do that for old trance labels but a man can dream :G

Some of these old tracks are really hard to get nowadays which is sad. If the vinyl-to-mp3 tracks got taken down from YouTube then an mp3 might be available nowhere other than hoping someone has it on a p2p file sharing network.
