I'm a windows user and my favorite plugins are:
Ultrafunk Sonitus:FX
Kjaerhus classic plugins
Waves Diamond
Kilohearts Toolbox
Bluecat Patchwork, Destructor
Voxengo plugins
SoundToys plugins
Image-line Edison, Maximus
Native Instruments Synths
Rob papen Synths
Synapse Dune 2
U-He Zebra
Still on a quest for great reverbs but the TAL one is pretty good and I sometimes use diffusion plugins instead like SoundToys Echoboy and Native instruments Replika
oh and my favorite 909 emulations are D16 Drumazon and DR-910 by Max

Purpose, thou art the compass.
My favourite reverb is Pro-R this thing is a beast, still use Valhallaroom from time to time though.Soundphase wrote:Still on a quest for great reverbs but the TAL one is pretty good and I sometimes use diffusion plugins instead like SoundToys Echoboy and Native instruments Replika

Figured I'd chime in. For me, there's really just three instruments that matter:
Native Instruments Reaktor. The userbase is amazing and you can make pretty much anything you'd ever want (made this a while back if you're into it: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/r ... how/11995/
Synapse Audio Dune 2. This is my favoroite softsynth of all time. I haven't used Dune 3 but it looks stupidly processing intensive so I'm wary of uprgrading. Dune 3 require a quad-core cpu which I have, but I think that's an absurd requirement for a plugin.
Synapse Audio EKS Pro is my favorite kickdrum plugin. I think it's a fairly popular one?
I'm not particularly attached to many effects, but Waves Brauer Motion is one I love to add to create an awesone sense of 3D space. I also think Izotope RX is a must have for general audio maitence.

In response to Spites, I would avoid the UAD plugins unless you already own or are prepared to dish out for a UAD interface. Each individual amp sim is also super expensive, granted they do sound really good. I play guitar and I'm a huge fan of Waves GTR 3 which comes basically complete with Waves Gold (which is always on sale for under $100 and is a must have plugin bundle imo if you do any type of mixing work with recorded musicians).spitles wrote:hi, i did try to find some guitar plugins for my badstyle and kekcore songs
eventually i did find some urls, but i'm undecided about what to buy lol
If helpful for others who may see this
, i made a list of all the plugins or trusted "brands" i've seen in several masterclasses (sorry if repeated mentions or too broad like the UAD/Waves plugins)
