ID software lead said they made Doom Eternal feel like racing an F1 and that the next game should feel as driving a monster truck, it seems they absolutely nailed it

It worries me a bit there's lack of verticality in stages/arenas and/or platforming movement but compensated by wide combat arenas, curious how it will turn out

This should've been a Quake reboot. (Also, the combat looks so much more sluggish in this one, compared to the footage we've seen earlier.)
