Re: Tutorial wishlist! (for tutorial writers and readers alike)
I've spent a lot of time today trying to create a lead for my melody's, but its just not happening for me lol,I've also watched some youtube videos on it too, they don't seem to give the best info,so maybe someone here could explain in some detail to me on how I could do this, something similar to the wasted penguinz/atmozfears leads?? Thanks!

i have some free time on my hands to do some tutorials on stuff for you guys, but i dont want to do it on something uninteresting.
so here is what i am confident on teaching people:
Basic mixing and eq'ing + advanced techniques
advanced compression techniques
Vocal manipulation and Effecting
those are a few i could do videos on, just let me know if you guys are interested!

I sure would be interested in mixing, eqing and compression tutorial!

i'll start to plan one out then
i might get it done tomorrow, but if not expect it mid week!

i'm not talking about compression on kicks or whatever has been done a million times, but advanced stuff like parralell compression, linear compression etc. but still covering the basics. Still pointless?
the way i was taught, was that you lightly compress a certain instrument - i.e the bass - several times. This allows you to keep the dynamic range down but makes it stick out in the mix. Its so much easier to show you than it is to explain

yes, but just because you understand, does not mean other beginner producers do, hence making a tutorial
