ofc I want people to learn you weirdo.. the right way I THINK people should learn.. BUT the hardstyle scene is gettin so fucked time by time, dickheads (which this forum has a alot of) allwaaaaaaaaaaays complain ''bla bla, not creative enough!'' ''this is so boring'' and so on.
and yeah, I get most of the comments.. because alot of new tracks are pretty bad. and it all sounds the same.
ripped kicks, nexus, presets, just... all... RIPPED AND FUCKED in general !

- wait? what do you mean with ''I understand where you are coming from''? so my way is pointless just because im not from Holland and doesn't have artist name with a ''Z''? lol, you are being racist right there you fuck.. anyhow, I burn so much for this genre, and I still do.

my best advice is.. If you really want to do something in your life, then DO IT WELL! < cool smiley lol

you're right though, in the end 90% of "what you do" is expierence and practice and not the raw information that you get from tutorials. in the end you develop your own techniques from a huge mass of gathered information and gained expierence.
it's the same with writing an essay or something - you don't copy everything 1:1 from a book, you gather a lot of books and THEN write the essay ;3
ofc there are a lot people doing it like "LOL COPY 1:1, SCANTRAXX IN 2YRS LOLOLOLOL YOU SUCK LOL" and don't even change e.g parameters or whatsoever - and that's ALSO why i like writing tutorials - better tutorials lead to better output from newbies, which, in general, may lead to a more complex and advanced soundscape over the years.
and i'm not talking about "hurrdurr, how to make a kick from a sample"-tutorials i'm talking about "how to make the sample that you ca use for a kick later"-tuts.
i really want to gather some people here who are interesting in sharing their knowledge with others.

i really want to gather some people here who are interesting in sharing their knowledge with others.

I'd really like to be able to do a tutorial on something, mainly because most of the ones on YouTube are just so full of gay and fail. The problem is that I'm not really good enough at anything to be able to contribute much that would be of any help. The other problem is that I'd wanna be able to talk about what I was doing and why, but that would mean that I would have to record myself talking, so at some stage during editing or whatever I'd be forced to listen to my own voice, which would be very traumatic and would result in me abandoning the whole thing because I'd be like "there's no fucking way I'm gonna put that shit on the internet". But maybe someday I might. I've kinda wanted to make one for a while after watching the Ableton Live tutorials by Olav Basoski at http://www.macProVideo.com (you can check em out by signing up for a free account there). Even though a lot of it was pretty basic stuff that I already knew, I really like the way it was presented and explained. There's just so much more value in listening to someone explain something simple, and doing it well with plenty of detail, than there is in watching some tool chain together 20 plugins, make adjustments without explanation, clip every meter in sight and finish by "mastering" with some random Ozone preset.

But when I have something of some value to contribute, we'll see what happens. But until then I'll just have to stick with hurrdurr.

Well, I know a little bit about a number of things and less about some others. But it's all relative- since you're only new, pretty much anything I tell you will help at least a little bit, but it's really just basic stuff that you can find here or at plenty of other places if you're looking for it.
