Did someone else notice that there is incorrect tuning in Drumazon? 432hz outputs a G note, but this frequency is known to be an A note

Nvm someone posted this on reddit

Code: Select all

Drumazon Pitch Tuning

Bb=.580
A=.536
Ab=.488
G=.440
F#=.388
F=.340
E=.288
Eb=.240
D=.188
Db=.136
C=.080
B=.028

Hello guys,
it's the first time I'm posting here, I already know how to make few kinds of kicks, but I'm really encountering troubles making (don't hate me please) that typical euphoric kick

I'm not asking for a complete tutorial about it, but I just wanna know where should I start (which bands to reduce and which bands to focus on when you're starting the processing, also how could I get that kind of punch/tok, cause mine is always sounding like a rawstyle one, and my kicktail is always too much distorded and got too much bass, I'm really stuck at making this kind of kick...)

EDIT :
To give you an idea of where I've got troubles, here's a small preview of what I've already done trying to make the euphoric kick

The first sample is my base sound made with Synsonic BD909 (EQ : Parametric EQ 2, Dist : Vnom and Camelphat mostly)
The second sample is what I actually get after layering it

Could you tell me if I was wrong since the beginning, or if I made mistakes during the ayering/processing ?

Something like this:
that's clearly a high reverb (short decay) setting before a big distortion clip, I made a similar sound

So massive reverb on Punch and the distortion afrerwards ?
Normal Tail ?

you can take a normal 909, normally the sound is achieved by carefully adjusting EQ between the reverb and distortions, phase distortion in the chain also creates a lot more control of the sound.. the last distortion (clip distortion) should be a strong clip

Thanks for the Help, will try that later.
Would you use a 909 with or without attack ?

Are you talking about the Attack knob on drumazon or volume envelope attack? I usually avoid the attack knob on drumazon, it can ruin headspace for distortion.. I also wouldn't bother with volume envelope on that - your first goal is to get the sound, then you can resample it later
