just look at the time, it's merge 'o clock.

this topic is dedicated to everything
  • -dynamics (compression, limiting, etc)
    -mixdown and mixdown troubleshooting
    -that involves non-sounddesigny EQ'ing questions
and yeah well :3 let's try to keep it to this topic, ok?

Well I got a problem with my sounds as you can hear in this track for a example

well my sounds do not sound 'full' and good they are so flat and not the best.
But I realy do not know what I should use to make my sounds good and nice
can someone give me tips on what to use and maybe send me link from a good youtube video or something?

thank you.

EQ'ing, and add a compressor to prevent it from clipping. ;)

Eq it and put some reverb on it. That will help alot. EQ it fuller. The mid freq. is very important imo to get a full sound. btw. Mastering your song is also a big step. But practicing is also a big step to make sounds better.
Eq my friend. EQ is the key :)

Well, to get nice sounds, not exactly. The mix should already be sounding awesome before you even get into mastering(which should NOT be used to make something sound nice).

You got a point their mate. But if you listen to his song, he needs to master it. Else your making your sounds for nothing imo :)

Eq and layering your sounds will help get them fuller, and use fx like reverb, delay etc.

So true mastering is basically a polishing process, if your mixdown isnt good, your master won't be good.
If you try and master a poor mixdown, its just going to make your track sound worse.

You got way too much high frequencies that the sound starts clipping, cut a lot of those out and maybe use filters on master channel or so, gl!
